I've been writing fanfiction since my teens, with a long hiatus in my early twenties. Since coming back to it in 2015 I've written in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars fandoms, as well as for Hannibal, Dredd, The Revenant, Overwatch, Ex Machina, Venom, and one or two other odds and ends. I wrote a silly Venom sex fic that got pretty big. I do Yuletide exchange and a few others, and you can read my letters here on DW if the mood strikes you.

The majority of what I write is 18+, and I do write a lot of darkfic including dubcon, age gaps and villains. If you're under 18, you really shouldn't be following me. If you're new here, comment and introduce yourself!

For this pairing I would really like something canon-compliant. My favourite thing about the books is the attention to detail surrounding the time period, and particularly the boundaries of appropriate language, behaviour and friendship between the characters. I'm curious to know: what happens when Jack and Stephen realise that obviously Something Must Be Done about all the sexual tension. Who cracks first? Do either of them have relevant experience? Are they aboard ship or on land? What's the aftermath of their first time like? If that idea doesn't work for you, I'm interested in how they might pursue a secret relationship while adhering to the mores of the time. Or, what happens when Diana enters the picture? Does she catch on? Does she care?

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Frank Castle/Billy Russo

This pairing is physically murdering me and also my emotions right now. I love how Frank is arguably the only person Billy is capable of caring about pre-season two. I love how they were besties and are now worsties. I love the weird way Ben Barnes opted to gaze adoringly at Jon Bernthal - me too, buddy, me too. A lot of my tags for this pairing are pretty brutal, but I would also enjoy a fic where the tensions between them in season one bubble to the top in ANY way. The contrast between how inseparable they used to be, and how sharply Frank's family's deaths drove them apart is a great storyline. (With that said, I struggled with a lot of season two, and if you matched with me on this pairing I would really appreciate if you tried to avoid as much of the 'facial disfigurement' storyline as possible. Sorry; I know this makes life hard but it's a personally tricky topic for me. Referencing his appearance is fine for me, but digging into the emotional impact is going to be very hard for me to read.)

Venom (2018) - Eddie Brock/Carlton Drake, Carlton Drake/Riot Symbiote

Love me some sex pollen, and I think Eddie/Carlton might just be the perfect pairing for it! Pretty sure that neither of them would voluntarily get it on. In this situation, I don't mind if the symbiotes are present or not - writer's choice. It could easily be set pre-symbiotes. Canon sets us up nicely for this pairing; I'm interested to see what you choose to do. We have an awful lot of Eddie/Venom fic out there, so what does weird tentacle sex look like for Carlton and his new best alien buddy? Has Carlton had the time or interest in flings and romance before? Does Riot change that? Or is Carlton a certified slut trying to persuade his ultra-focused evil alien symbiote to give it to him? Is one of them manipulating the other? Is it even consensual? I LEAVE ALL THS UP TO YOU.

This should be a slam dunk for you because I do love a good old-fashioned hatefucking dynamic. My AO3 is only a click away if you need a sense of what I like for Hydra husbands. Short of gore, there's really nothing too gross for these boys to do to each other, with the obvious exceptions of my DNWs. I always adore an undercurrent of unrequited feelings especially when those feelings have to be kept secret for Bad Hydra Reasons. Canon - what we have of it - is important for me in this pairing. They really inhabit this straitjacket of military masculinity and what I like is when that gets disrupted by their feelings (antagonistic or romantic) for one another. Fighting as foreplay, dubious/un-negotiated fuckery, threats of further violence, wilfully degrading each other - it's all good.


Luke Cage
Shades Alvarez/Cornell 'Cottonmouth' Stokes
Shades Alvarez/Darius 'Comanche' Jones

I do like a good sinister, lurking henchman. Shades particularly intrigues me because he's in a curious position relative to Stokes, with an element of power via a shadowy master. There have been some great fics bouncing off the end of season 2 with Shades and Mariah, and what all my favourite fics have in common is showing how Shades might be willing to temporarily subordinate himself to someone for an advantageous position later in the game.

• What does Stokes want from Shades, and what price will Shades exact for it?
• Or, conversely, what might Shades have to do in order to get close to Stokes?
• Can Shades serve two masters without getting found out?
• I'd also be interested in a fic where Shades plays Mariah and Stokes off against one another.

I was amazed by the Shades/Comanche storyline. Like, staring-at-my-screen-with-mouth-open amazed. If you're so inspired, tell me about their relationship. How it begins, how they maintain it in prison, how it ends. I'd also love an alternate path, where Shades has to juggle Mariah and Comanche at the same time, without Mariah finding out. I guess my overwhelming question with Shades is, is he secretly a deeply empathetic and easily-romanced person in the Wrong Job, or does he habitually sexually manipulate people of all genders to get what he wants? Or both?!


The Punisher
Frank Castle/Billy Russo
There was never any hope for me with this wretched TV series. Frank and Billy have some really great dynamics that I would love to see you explore:

• Loyalty and betrayal
• Past history (exactly how much time do they spend dicking each other down in the Middle East? - please advise)
• Their relationship with Curtis
• What would have happened had Frank left the Marine Corp when Billy did? What if they were business partners?
• What would have happened if Frank had taken up Billy's offer of making him disappear?
• And all porn is good porn, let's be honest

For this pairing in particular, I would really like to pretend that the season finale doesn't exist. I found it kind of dispiriting; facial deformity as a signifier of evil is very uncomfortable for me. Let's keep Billy pretty for now :)

Norman "Machine" Ellison/Grady "Coon-Ass" Travis
Boyd "Bible" Swan/Grady "Coon-Ass" Travis

I have no excuse. If you're reading this letter to actually write either of these pairings: bless you, you are a hero of our times. I would like to see fic for these pairings that is reasonably canon-compliant, or at least situationally believable - please, no AUs. The great strength of the film was its grit and authenticity, and I enjoyed the interpersonal and group dynamics of the tank crew in that context too much to disrupt it.

Boyd and Grady have a really fascinating relationship, in that there's this deep, intimate brotherhood going on. Fic about them wouldn't have to be sexual, but they definitely have a unique bond that is clearly signposted by both the actors. Why did the deeply religious dude and the anarchic, badly-behaved loader end up arguably the closest of all the crew?

Grady and Norman is just, you know, this gross thing I have. I'm not sure what I want with it, but I do know that Norman would be an amazing target for a loose cannon like Grady. Hazing the new boy?


Ex Machina
Ava/Kyoko
Ava & Kyoko

I've embarked on a one-woman quest to write, or cause to be written, as much about Ava and Kyoko as I can. Especially Kyoko. I would be really interested in any headcanons you want to bring to the table and expand, to be honest with you! The less directly the story deals with Nathan and Caleb, the better. They got their two hours in the movie, you know? I do absolutely see these two as having a sexual or romantic element to their relationship, but I could just as easily enjoy a story about them living, scheming or recreating together.


The 100
Marcus Kane/John Murphy

Full disclosure: I never watched past the end of season two. This is one of the rare times when an AU might work for me! I recall watching this and being delighted by a) how ridiculous it was and b) the infinite smut potential of Jackbooted Space Thugs vs Feral Teens. Never did get around to writing fic, but I was recently inspired by a Kane/Murphy fic and decided to throw this out into the universe!

Tropes and ideas that would be fun for these two:

• Inadvisable dating choices regarding age gaps and power
• Something where Kane is required to discipline Murphy (this would work well in-universe, I think)
• Murphy knows a secret about Kane and is willing to blackmail him
• A story where Kane is unsubtly attracted to Murphy, and Murphy knows he has all the power

I spent all day yesterday combing through the Yuletide collection marking things for later, reading and commenting. A good crop this year! For once, I'm stirring myself to make a real rec list. Wow, Dreamwidth, you're making me produce real content. Here's my top recs, in no particular order.

Except that top billing goes to my gift, of course. As with the last year I requested sad Jesuit boys who probably have fleas and tuberculosis. Some kind anonymous person delivered with this:

This nails the tone of Silence and pings all the right buttons; it's tragic and full of faith and suffering. You know, the good stuff.

Night comes a calling, [9k, The Night Manager, Jonathan Pine/Richard Roper]
I didn't love the book and I never saw the TV show, so this fic is surprisingly everything I could have wanted from a le Carré fandom! It's dripping with resentment and twisty plot and class issues, and the sex is both weird, hot and super in-character. If you leave your comfort zone for one fic this Yuletide, make it this one.

Old-Fashioned, [6k, The Punisher, Frank Castle/Karen Page]
Some tasty Frank/Karen angst, with a comforting but canon-appropriate ending. A sweet and poignant read.

Prickly Situation, [1.5k, Master & Commander, Stephen Maturin/Jack Aubrey]
Tone-perfect almost-sickfic, with a natural history lesson from Maturin that O'Brian could have written himself.

I Believe the Children are Our Future, [1.3k, BlacKkKlansman, Flip Zimmerman/Ron Stallworth]
I can't believe that I'm going to recommend mpreg but WHOOP THERE IT IS ON MY REC LIST. Guys this is, um, really good. It's really good. You should read it.

Radioactive, [1.8k, Dredd, Cassandra Anderson]
Anderson gets through a lot of partners. A neat story that shows Dredd observing her progress as a Judge, and approving.

Overwatch

Real talk: both of these guys are horrible people and I would prefer a fic that kept them both that way. If you can't make yourself write them as Bad, I would rather not read anything fluffy. For something less shippy, their thieving, exploding backstory would be a lot of fun! Or, it would be interesting to see how the other members of Overwatch view them, and tolerate them, out in the field.

Now that we have new canon about the Queen of Junkertown and Junkertown's arena, a fic about that could be cool.


Solo: A Star Wars Story

Qi'Ra/Dryden Vos, Lando Calrissian/Han Solo

Special note here: if you're going to write Qi'Ra/Dryden Vos, it would be super important to me to avoid M/f. Femdom is all good. Something about Qi'Ra's elusive backstory would be great, or jobs she's done as Vos's lieutenant. Why does he trust her? What did he see in her initially?

I was so taken with how sensuous and patient this film was, and how well it captured the unspeakable nightmare of being seventeen. What a great adaptation of a great book. One thing I especially enjoyed was Elio's teenage tendency to treat Oliver appallingly because he couldn't work out how to deal with him. The physicality of both Oliver and Elio is lovely, too - there are times when they shove each other and wrestle that you're reminded that Oliver is really not past that kind of rough-housing play either.

What would I like in a fic? Both the book and film were very much from Elio's perspective, so something that tells us what Oliver was thinking would be brilliant. Alternatively, take Elio's basically non-stop internal monologue and run with it. For this pairing, I am not really fussy about whether or not penetration happens. If it does, a first-time fic could be neat. More generally speaking, I love me an overwhelmed twink who doesn't know what to do with himself. I would be crazy about a fic where they have to be very quiet while having sex. I would also love anything in which Elio realises that what he thinks are horrible perversions are actually quite commonplace (Oliver: that's hilarious, have you ever thought about this). Also: dirty talk would be just great for this pairing.

There are so many great options and nuances for this fandom generally, and I encourage you to roll with the darkness of the canon. I will say that while I like the idea of Nathan as a voyeur, I'm not really interested in group sex.

Generally, I characterise Nathan as manipulative and kinky, and Caleb as barely-experienced and submissive. I prefer to see Ava and Kyoko together (give those poor lady robots a break from Nathan) but if you pair them with the guys I shy away from anything that looks like ownership or male domination.

Some ideas:

• Caleb pretending to be a robot to get Nathan off
• Nathan stage-directing and watching some weird and baroque sex game with two of the others

What kind of a relationship were they able to have?

It would be fascinating to me to read a fic that explores how their personal relationship impacts each man's moral choices.


Blade Runner
K/Deckard

If they hadn't been immediately caught, what kind of interactions might these two men have had in the old hotel? (Wow, that's a leading question!) Does Deckard see K as human, or is he a particularly attractive ambulatory convenience? Is Deckard really human? There are so many similarities and differences in between these two.


Overwatch 
Junkrat/Roadhog

Real talk: both of these guys are horrible people and I would prefer a fic that kept them both that way. If you can't make yourself write them as Bad, I would rather not read anything fluffy.
