For Brad/Nate, I really like works that are in keeping with the overall tone and context of male interaction at the time. I love emotional repression and bad communication! No talk about it! Only avoidance and suffering! The contrast between two very intelligent men and the unintentional black romantic comedy they're living out in The Desert is always rich and delicious for me.
I am open to AUs where you put them in a fresh situation that shines a light on true to canon parts of their personalities. I'd be open to an AU with some kind of role reversal, too!

I enjoy gen fic and character explorations of this horrible man but if you want to try throwing him at another person then go ahead! I really need my fics in this area to be true to the fact that he is a self-described asshole and frequently not a very nice person to be around. I'm also interested in his relationship to competence and what happens when he can't operate through his usual prism of The Guy Who Knows Things And Keeps You Alive.

Questions I have: has Dick ever behaved badly in his life, what does it look like and does he get away with it? Is the love unrequited and if so, which of them doesn't yet know they're made for each other? Also, who ELSE knows?
Interested also in any little slice of life fics set during canon events - how do they interact in quiet moments, do they play chess or something, and if you have some AMAZINGLY period typical activity or specific historical knowledge then do KINDLY drop it here!
